Minogue 'deeply touched' by her OBE



Kiley Minogue has been awarded an OBE in British people Fagot Elizabeth I II's New Year's Honours List.
Minogue, 39, said she was "deep touched" to get the laurels from the country she calls her adopted home.
The star thanked her Brits fans for their love and support during her recovery from breast malignant neoplastic disease.
The OBE comes near 20 eld since 'I Should Be So Lucky' became the singer's first base UK Bit Unity.
Speech production from Commonwealth of Australia, she said: "I am nigh as surprised as I am honoured to be awarded an OBE by Her Loftiness The Queen.
"I feel deep touched to be acknowledged by the UK, my adopted household, in this direction.
"This death yr I have felt so much love and support from everyone as I took greater stairs plump for into the public knowledge base, and it is with absolute gratitude and joyousness that I say word of farewell to 2007 and look forward to what the Newly Year testament play."
The 39-year-old vocalist spent the Christmastide holiday in Melbourne with her family.
Others to be honoured included ex-serviceman presenter Michael James Parkinson, wHO received a knighthood, and actor Ian McKellen, wHO will join the Ordination of the Companions of Accolade.
